Fame doesn't bother Lady Gaga

Los Angeles: Pop star Lady Gaga says she does not concentrate on fame as much as she does in putting all her energy into creating music instead.
The 27-year-old, who underwent a hip surgery in February, admits that her time away from work made her re-evaluate her priorities.
"I really enjoyed the down time because it rejuvenated my creativity and I figured out a lot about myself after the last few years," contactmusic.com quoted Gaga as saying.
"I realised I am not in it for the fame. I don`t need to go out and be recognised to feel alive. I do miss being on stage and singing and dancing. I didn`t miss getting dressed up," she added.
The ‘Poker face’ singer had previously said that being on stage makes her feel alive.

Diane Kruger avoids alcohol for skincare

Los Angeles: Actress Diane Kruger has admitted that she abstains from alcohol consumption and smoking to take care of her skin.
The actress says that she used to suffer from rosacea, a skin condition which causes red splotching on the face.
"I wasn`t blessed with great skin. I used to have rosacea and had to quit smoking to get rid of it. I still struggle with under-eye circles. It`s all about discipline and finding products that are right for you," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Kruger as saying.
"I`ve noticed my skin looks better when I don`t drink, so I stopped for six weeks before the Cannes International Film Festival. It did me wonders. I slept better than ever. It kind of sucked, though, because I enjoy a glass of wine," she added.
The 37-year-old was recently named the face of Chanel`s skincare beauty product line.

HEY GIRL, I'M ACTUALLY A TOTAL CREEP

Ryan Gosling is undoubtedly one of the most crushed on celebrities of the 21st century. Girls' hearts exploded when they watched him kiss Rachel McAdams in the rain in The Notebook, and ever since then their opinions have not wavered. But if you take a closer look, you'll see that since the beginning of his movie career, he has steadily played psychologically unsound weirdos film after film. So what is it about the Gos that makes girls swoon, no matter how creepy he is on film? Oh yeah, it's probably because he's really, really ridiculously good-looking, with or without a pedo 'stache.t
Katy Perry meditates every morning
London: Pop star Katy Perry has revealed she begins every day with a meditation session to prepare her for work.
The 28-year-old singer practices the ancient Indian technique every morning while sitting on her bed with her eyes closed for about 20 minutes to make sure she is relaxed and in a good mood before she starts work, reported Contactmusic.
"I start the day with transcendental meditation. It puts me in the best mood. I wake up and just prop myself up in bed for 20 minutes. It`s the only time my mind gets absolute rest. When I`m asleep, my subconscious mind is switched on and, when I`m awake, I`m alert," Perry said.
The `Roar` hitmaker also takes vitamins to give her an afternoon `energy boost`, which she believes helps her with digestion too.
"Like everyone I have a four o`clock slump. I take vitamins after lunch and they give me an energy boost. I have iron, vitamins B, C and D and probiotics, which help with my digestion," Perry added.

I don't think about style: Kristen Wiig

London: `Bridesmaids` star Kristen Wiig`s does not think much about her outfit more when she goes out.
The actress, who shot to fame in 2005, has been told by her closest friends to spruce up her wardrobe a bit more, reported Contactmusic.
"That`s always weird, You see pictures of yourself in magazines where you didn`t even know anyone was there... I`m the kind of person that will just put on clothes and leave the house , and I have had friends telling me, `You can`t go out like that`. And I guess I can`t," she said.
The 39-year-old star previously said she refuses to wear skyscraper heels because she tends to go for comfort instead of style.
"I don`t really think about style. As I get older, comfort is more important. I so badly want to be that girl who shops with her girlfriends and wears heels, but I can`t do it. After one block I`d have to go buy flats," she said.

Salman Khan not given UK visa due to court cases: Salim Khan

Mumbai: Actor Salman Khan, who is scheduled to shoot in the UK for his upcoming film `Kick`, has not been given visa.
His father, Salim Khan, said the visa was denied because some papers related to the court cases against him relating to alleged hunting chinkara and blackbuck in Rajasthan during the shoot of `Hum Saath Saath Hain` in 1998 did not reach here in time.
Salman was convicted in two cases and was handed sentence of five years in one case and a year in the other. He has appealed in the High Court against both the sentences.
"The visa was denied to him because some papers from Jodhpur were not there...The papers had not come. All this has happened because of technical glitch," Salim Khan told reporters.
He will again apply for the visa next week, Khan said.
The actor is also being tried for culpable homicide not amounting to murder in a hit-and-run case in Mumbai.

Veena Malik had to lose 9 kgs for 'Supermodel'

Mumbai: Actress Veena Malik says she had to let go of some of her favourite food items to cut down almost 9 kgs to fit into her role in the upcoming film `Supermodel`.
"I had to work hard to fit into the character. When my producer and director Navin Batra came to sign me, they said that `Veena-ji, you need to cut down your weight to 47 kgs`. I was 56 kgs at that time. So to be a supermodel, I had to let go of food," Veena said here at the music launch of the film.
"Then of course, to get into the character`s emotional ups and downs while acting... that was there. I wanted to make it look very real on screen," she added.
`Supermodel` also stars Ashmit Patel and hits theaters Sep 27.

Teen girls the world over are losing their s**t because — OMG — One Direction is on the big screen. This Is Us hit theaters Thursday and that means 92 minutes of Harry, Niall, Liam, Louis, and Zayn singin', chillin', prankin', and just being their adorable selves. Can you even handle that
If you have a life-sized poster of Niall on your wall, support Zayn's engagement even though you're broken-hearted, or are reading this right now while standing in line for your sixth viewing of This Is Us then it's safe to say that you are a Directioner through and through. And if One Direction is your all-time favorite boy band then, well, that says a lot. For starters, you are between the ages of 10 and 18. You also don't know who Lisa Frank is and will never fully appreciate the glory that is a perfectly-curated mix CD (or tape, if you want to kick it real old school). You have the fastest thumbs in west — all the better to tweet/text/Facebook/Snapchat you with, my dear – and are so over Justin Bieber (but Austin Mahone, on the other hand...)
But anyone born before 1995 knows that One Direction can hardly be called the "best boy band of all time." Here's what your boy band of choice says about you.

NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK

A true child of the '80s, you were one of the first to hop on the boy bandwagon and, as such, you are known as being a trendsetter. You ripped your jeans and cropped your tops before you read that you were supposed to in Tiger Beat and you better believe there is still a crimper in the back of your closet. These days, you spend your days climbing to the top of the corporate ladder and your nights trolling for scalped tickets for the NKOTBSB Tour (which, let's be honest, you are still angry is not just a NKOTB reunion tour).
BACKSTREET BOYS
If the Backstreet Boys are your one desire, then it's safe to say that the wildest ice cream flavor you'll ever order is chocolate and vanilla swirl (whoa, go crazy!). You like things to go according to plan — your plan — and you're not a huge fan of spontaneity. While you're a born leader and feel right at home at the top of the food chain, it's been a bit of time since you've held that post. And as fun as it is to relive your totally bomb senior prank every once in a while, this state of a perpetual comeback you're in is wearing thin on those who once worshipped you.

NSYNC
You're the best, the coolest, indisputably the most talented/gorgeous/charming/wonderful person of all time. (Can you tell where my loyalties lie?) In all seriousness, you're sassy on the outside but have a heart of gold. You may not have been class president or a star athlete once upon a time, but you know your crew would go to the ends of the Earth for you, and you for them. You're also a good dancer and have an inexplicable love of puppetry. You probably still have frosted tips and you have a one in five chance of achieving greatness.

BOYZ II MEN
You have impeccable taste. You're a discerning consumer — of music, art, romantic companions, fine perishable goods — and never settle for less than top-notch. You're also wise beyond your years and therefore a neverending fountain of advice, support, and shoulders to cry on for your friends. You were definitely the first of your friends to get laid.

98 DEGREES
Choosing 98 Degrees as your main jam shows that you're more wallflower than life of the party. You're a little shy (but totally adorable) and find more pleasure in a book or journal than, well, just about anything. A total smartie, you're not confused by tricky things like chicken of the sea. Most importantly, you're a hopeless romantic who will never give up on love — despite a few bumps along the road.BBMAK

You aren't afraid to dance to the beat of your own drum (and "Back Here" on repeat). Holy Jesus are you a sucker for guys with accents. You studied abroad in Europe your junior year of college and were only convinced to return to the States after a strongly-worded phone call with your parents (which included phrases like "student loans," "throwing away your future," and "cutting off your funds").
